Amber Wilson is a broadcaster/host with a passion for everything sports. Before joining the Open Sports team where she formerly worked as a host, reporter and writer (2008-2009); she acted as a video host for CBSSports.com (2006-2008) where she covered an array of sports with an emphasis on fantasy sports. She also spent time in her career as a freelance sports reporter around the state of Florida (2005-2006).

Wilson, a native of Sarasota Florida, graduated from the University of Florida in 2005 with a bachelors in telecommunications news and a minor in history.

Her love of sports comes from her father who took her to countless Gator football games from the time she was a small child. She decided sports casting was for her thanks to the guidance of her older brother who suggested it to her when she was in middle school.

Wilson spends most of her free time in the gym, and recently completed one of the nation's most highly regarded personal training certifications with an emphasis on athletic perfomance through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. She has participated in fitness challenges and hopes to pursue fitness modeling one day as well.

She also spends her days enjoying Florida's sunny weather, spending time with friends and the love of her life - her dog Peanut.
